It is hard to believe that we are getting close to our last 3 months of this school year. How time is flying!!
We continue to work on expressive and receptive language, fine motor, and gross motor skills. We are seeing so much improvement.
This month we will be doing a theme on Farm, Shamrocks, and Eggs. There will be lots of fun to come.
We will also be having a Cardinal Carnival on the 23rd of March. Our basket will be focused on Dog Daze. Anything dog/pet related that is sent in will be in a basket to be auctioned at the Carnival.
McDonald's night was a HUGE success. It was fun, and I enjoyed seeing familiar faces.
Thank you for supporting your children's education!!

SNOW AT LAST!!
It has really not felt too much like an Indiana Winter. When the groundhog saw his shadow, we worried that the 6 more weeks of winter would make up for the first part of winter. HUUMMMM!! We will just have to see.
We have a lot of school wide activities going on. So I wanted to take some time to post those.
February 17 from 6-8 Sock Hop/Scholastic Book Fair. There will be a DJ and dinner and dessert are available for $5 per person. This is a PSG sponsored event.
February 23 from 5-8 McNight at McDonald's on E. Main (in front of Marsh). Cardinal PSG will receive 20% of all sales that evening. I plan to be there to help from 5-6. This is also a PSG sponsored event.
Our Cardinal PSG is very active. This year each teacher has $200 to buy supplies, etc for their classroom. They also bought up two new trikes, so we have enough for 5-6 children to ride at a time. Any fundraiser for the PSG is a great way to support your children and their education.
February 6-10 Heart and sole event put on as a service project for Mrs. McMullen's HA class. They are collecting used unwanted shoes. Heals must be less than 2.5 inches, no heelies, or cleats. The class with the most donations will receive $500 in free books. Please send in your unwanted shoes.
As for class, Mrs. Rolfson has been out for a few days. We have been able to have the same subs, so it has worked well for the children. She should return next Monday. I will be glad to have her back. Mrs. Laura Thompson has been her in the AM class to help me by supporting the children.
We celebrated Groundhog's Day, Hearts, and will be having a Valentine exchange next Tuesday. Next week, we will start The Mitten story by Jan Brett. It should prove to be a great learning experience.
Our therapists have been so busy with the children that notes have been an afterthought. If you have questions or concerns please let me know.
If you have not had a case review, I will be contacting you prior to Spring Break to schedule a time.
Hope you are keeping warm! Thank you for sharing your little ones with me.
